Melbourne

Just home from a fabulous trip to Melbourne. I love where my sister lives in Albert park, everything is within walking distance - cafes, shops and bay. I'm going to miss having a place to stay when she heads off soon on her year long round world trip.

I also managed to cram in lots of visiting, saw Kate and her brood for a play on Friday morning before heading off to the Ink & Spindle studio to see the girls. Then dinner that night with Cathy and Louise. Saturday we went along to the quilt market for a bit of a perve and ran into Elissa who were busy buying for kelani. Luckily, I had seen Leslie's post on Friday about Yarraville market, so we headed out there after the quilt market. What a lovely little market! such a shame we don't have more like that in Sydney. It was so great to finally Leslie after all this time and see her beautiful things in person.

It's going to be a busy week finishing everything up for Avalon Beach market day. I didn't get nearly as much done as I had planned. So there'll be a few late nights this week.
